The Salone Internazionale del Mobile together with the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, returns - from 16th to 21st this year – at the Milan Fairgrounds at Rho with a huge range of superlative exhibits. This event that is unlike any other, anywhere in the world, is not just the leading event in the home/contract furnishing sector at global level, but also a matchless occasion for an international meeting of minds – not to mention business, image and communication.

As always, there is an infinite variety of goods on offer. The Salone Internazionale del Mobile, together with the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition is a showcase for excellence covering all types of domestic furnishing, from single pieces to coordinates, and every conceivable style, from classic to design to modern, not to mention trendsetters. Peter Greenaway: Leonardo's Last Supper

Saloni 2008 will open with the exceptionally innovative and pioneering event conceived by Greenaway, visionary artist and filmmaker who particularly enjoys Italy and its art history: presenting his audience with a surprising new take on Leonardo's Last Supper, Greenaway will create an inspiring multimedia event taking place in front of what is undoubtedly the world's most mysterious and influential piece of art.

SaloneUfficio, the International Biennial Workspace Exhibition, which this year has “Ufficio Fabbrica Creativa” (The Office as Creative Hub) as its macro-cross theme, will be paying homage to the city of Milan and to the world of work with a huge installation conceived by Michelangelo Pistoletto & Cittadellarte.

Eurocucina is broadening its exhibition horizons with “FTK (Technology For the Kitchen)”, its collateral proposal and an event – not just a commercial fair and still less a mere exhibition centred around built-in electrical appliances – that will stimulate its visitors with a wide range of goods produced in the spirit of the evolution and transformation of the technology of built-in electrical appliances and cooker hoods, in step with the motto underpinning the Saloni: originality and innovation.

The objective of this seminar is to illustrate the advantages arising from the strategic management of workspaces. A snapshot of modern tendencies, of possible developments and actual experiences will be presented in order to give a precious opportunity to reflect on space management modalities capable of fulfilling the requirements of communication, relation and efficiency of personnel, and organizational and cultural changes, from the point of view of cost and investment optimization and planning.
