Salone Internazionale del Mobile

The Salone Internazionale del Mobile together with the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, returns - from 16th to 21st this year – at the Milan Fairgrounds at Rho with a huge range of superlative exhibits. This event that is unlike any other, anywhere in the world, is not just the leading event in the home/contract furnishing sector at global level, but also a matchless occasion for an international meeting of minds – not to mention business, image and communication.

As always, there is an infinite variety of goods on offer. The Salone Internazionale del Mobile, together with the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition is a showcase for excellence covering all types of domestic furnishing, from single pieces to coordinates, and every conceivable style, from classic to design to modern, not to mention trendsetters. The greatest surprise will be the event set against the backdrop of the of the Sala delle Cariatidi at Palazzo Reale, in which an internationally-renowned artist and an icon of Milan's and Italy's cultural heritage par excellence will take part, as well as one of the most famous works of art in the world.

Besides commercial offerings, the Saloni shows also provide a host of educational events conveying the culture of Italian industrial and furniture design throughout the world.

Peter Greenaway: Leonardo's Last Supper

Saloni 2008 will open with the exceptionally innovative and pioneering event conceived by Greenaway, visionary artist and filmmaker who particularly enjoys Italy and its art history: presenting his audience with a surprising new take on Leonardo's Last Supper, Greenaway will create an inspiring multimedia event taking place in front of what is undoubtedly the world's most mysterious and influential piece of art.

SaloneUfficio, the International Biennial Workspace Exhibition, which this year has “Ufficio Fabbrica Creativa” (The Office as Creative Hub) as its macro-cross theme, will be paying homage to the city of Milan and to the world of work with a huge installation conceived by Michelangelo Pistoletto & Cittadellarte.


Following upon the success of last year's edition, our young and talented designers are gearing up for the annual celebration of creativity, to be held in a space designed specifically for the occasion within the Milan Fairgrounds in Rho.

FTK - Technology For the Kitchen

Eurocucina is broadening its exhibition horizons with “FTK (Technology For the Kitchen)”, its collateral proposal and an event – not just a commercial fair and still less a mere exhibition centred around built-in electrical appliances – that will stimulate its visitors with a wide range of goods produced in the spirit of the evolution and transformation of the technology of built-in electrical appliances and cooker hoods, in step with the motto underpinning the Saloni: originality and innovation.

Designing Designers 9th Edition ''Offices and Workspaces for Knowledge Workers''

In occasion of SaloneUfficio, Designing Designers will focus on the office as a physical and virtual locus for cooperation, research and the processing and exchange of information, in which social organisational structures exist, made up of people who talk to each other, can see each other and interact in order to come up with multiple and often complex solutions.

Office environment as a means to assure productivity and quality of work Seminar organized by IFMA Italia, the Italian chapter of International Facility Management Association

The objective of this seminar is to illustrate the advantages arising from the strategic management of workspaces. A snapshot of modern tendencies, of possible developments and actual experiences will be presented in order to give a precious opportunity to reflect on space management modalities capable of fulfilling the requirements of communication, relation and efficiency of personnel, and organizational and cultural changes, from the point of view of cost and investment optimization and planning.
